Pumpkins range from approximately 3-6" in height.

You will receive three versions of this file. One file has slots for free standing in 1/8” and another is 1/4” material, and the other is designed for easel stands that can be purchased on Amazon or for sign making or other creative craft projects.

Slotted stand version is PRE-MEASURED. Do not adjust any measurements as they will not fit together. You must use 1/8” MDF or material in that thickness for this to fit together properly for the 1/8” file. As well as 1/4” MDF for the 1/4” file. MDF is the preferred material. I do not recommend plywood for the intricate cuts in the patterns as it can break easily or char. Wood is never preferred for intricate cuts. It breaks easily and chars.

1/8” slots are for material .11-.125”
1/4” slots are for material .25-.26”

You are provided with two layers for each stand in the 1/8” version. You may choose to use one and cut the stands in 1/4" material or cut in 1/8" and layer two layers.

You will need to glue the decorative layer on the coordinating back layer and then place into the stands. That is all that is required of the assembly. This file is designed for a beginner.

These can be spray painted after you cut, but no more than two coats. Thickness in paint can cause build up and cause the pieces to fit too snugly.

I used foil in the back layer in dark pewter. I have a video demonstration of the foil technique when staging this file in my Facebook group. Winetopia -link below.

Please ask questions, I am here to answer any questions about the file. If your question is related to the Glowforge software, I am not comfortable answering those as I do not represent the company and do not want to provide advice that could result in damage to your machine.

Settings are determined by your material and your machine. I am not comfortable providing settings as each machine runs at differing speeds. I do not want to be responsible for any damaged projects due to giving you the wrong settings.
